Jan 2006 pathological fracture of femur Diagnosis to be osteosarcoma. Test found Cancer was contained to femur. First noticed discomfort in femur May 2005 while running.
Feb 2006 - May 2006 Chemo.
May 2006 Leg amputeed. Continued with three more rounds of Chemo had to stop treatment do to complications with Kidneys.
Jan 2007 CT scan revealed a nodule lower right lobe.
June 2007 CT scan revealed two new nodules left lung.
November 2007 all three nodules were treated by Cyber Knife Georgetown University.
Sept 2008 nodule CT scan revealed in Jan 2007 treated Nov 2007 had grown to 1.3x1.4 cm other two nodules are larger / scar tissue ? but could have been receptive to Cyber Knife.
Oct 2008 pet scan shows no new nodules or any other areas of concern.
Oct 2008 had a biopsy performed on right lower lobe on the first found nodule from JAN 2007 and is larger of the three. Biopsy went through my back near my spine and markers were placed for possible future Cyberknife. Biospy confirmed osteosarcoma

What future treatment? "Scoping" of nodule or a repeat with CyberKnife? I have a consultation this week with a surgeon about scoping. The Cyber Knife has been offered up as a possible treatment although Georgetown wants meet to consult the surgeon about options. Will markers help in that previous CK treatment was not a direct hit.
